John Beach Abbott - This Founding Father of the Delphic Fraternity was a New York county judge, the first Livingston County Bar Association president, and a State Democratic Leader.

Heinz Ahlmeyer, Jr. - A United States Post Office, a community college scholarship, an athletic award, and a varsity soccer game are named after this Delphic alumnus who lost his life during the Vietnam War.

William George Butler - World-famous musician and composer, and one of the founders of the Delta Chapter of the Delphic Fraternity at Mansfield, Pennsylvania.

Frank Sumner Capen - The second principal of the New Paltz Normal School was an honorary member of Alpha Pi Nu, which later became the Delphic Fraternity, and a member of the Delphic Society at Rochester.

Rowland L. Davis - New York State Supreme Court Justice.

John Norris Drake - One of the 13 Founding Fathers of Delphic and a prominent citizen and lawyer of Brockport, NY.

Henry Albert Dickinson - New York State Assembly Member who helped draft the city charter of Cortland, NY.

Dr. John H. Doane - A building at Mansfield University is named after this physician and his family.

Arthur J. Gmeiner - Businessman, artist, and philanthropist.

Alfred Harcourt - Founder of the Harcourt Publishing Company, who worked with some of the most famous writers of the 20th Century.

Louis Jay Heath - Foreign correspondent for United Press International and one of the first organizers of the American Newspaper Guild.

R. Paul Higgins - A residence hall on the SUNY Cortland campus is named after this Delphic, who was a prominent physician and higher education officer.

Frank J. LaFevre - U.S. Congressman and descendant of the LaFevres who founded New Paltz, NY.

Clayton R. Lusk - The Lusk Field House at SUNY Cortland is named after this New York State Senator and Acting Lieutenant Governor of New York, mostly remembered as chairman of the "Lusk Committee."

Scott L. McNinch - One of the 13 Founding Fathers of the Delphic Fraternity and a member of the Board of Supervisors for Conesus, New York.

James M. Milne - The library at SUNY Oneonta is named after this Founding Father of Delphic, who was the first principal of the Oneonta Normal School.

William James Milne - Member of the Delphic Society at Rochester who was instrumental in the founding of the Delphic Society at Geneseo and known for leading two teachers' colleges in New York State.

Charles T. Saxton - American Civil War Veteran, New York State Senator, and Lieutenant Governor of New York.

George Scatchard - American chemist nominated for a Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

David Eugene Smith - Mathematician, educator, and editor, considered one of the founders of the field of mathematics education.

George B. Strait - A planetarium at Mansfield University is named after this popular professor.

Harold G. Strait - A state highway is named after this prominent resident of Mansfield, Pennsylvania.

Lawrence H. van den Berg - First president of the State Teachers College at New Paltz and an honorary member of the Delphic Fraternity.

Frank E. Welles - This Founding Father was a prominent professor at SUNY Geneseo and a former Utica City School District Superintendent.

Charles Smith Wilbur - A Founding Father who was a major baseball league umpire and the supervisor of the 1900 U.S. Census for the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and the Bronx.

The organization stands as one of the nation’s oldest independent fraternities and proudly holds the distinction of being the first official multicultural fraternity established on the East Coast of the United States. It is dedicated to fostering self-awareness and personal growth among its members, grounded in the principle of the Delphic maxim "know thyself," while empowering brothers to excel academically, cultivate professional excellence, and develop strong and resilient characters.
